A Bat Emergence Survey/s find out whether there are roosting Bats on site or not. If there are, we find out the species, roost type and number of individuals. These are required after a PRA report indicates there is Bat roosting potential on site. Low=1, Moderate=2, High or confirmed=3. If Roosting Bats are found on site, that area must be surveyed a total of 3 times. This is typically done at dusk with multiple qualified surveyors using Bat detectors and infra red cameras. We would then present the findings of the survey/s in a report, which depending on the results, will either allow for planning permission, or inform a Bat mitigation license which then leads to planning permision.
